Smriti Mandhana Enters Record Books with Historic Century
Smriti Mandhana, the dynamic Indian batter, achieved a monumental feat on Saturday, becoming the first Indian woman cricketer to score centuries in all three international formats: Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.
This landmark achievement occurred during the first T20I between India Women and England Women at Trent Bridge. Mandhana delivered a spectacular innings, scoring 112 runs off just 62 balls.
Leading the team as captain, Mandhana showcased an aggressive and composed performance, hitting 15 fours and three sixes. Her innings propelled India to a formidable total of 210/5 in 20 overs, their highest-ever T20I score against England.
This century was also Mandhana's first in T20Is, completing a rare achievement that no other Indian woman batter had accomplished before.
